Nik Boivin
President, he/they
Nik Boivin is a visionary artist and advocate who founded Bee the Change Foundation to harness the power of art for social impact. With years of experience in artistic leadership and community engagement, Nik is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices, promoting inclusivity, and driving positive social progress through creative expression.

Jen Jennings
Vice President, she/her
Jennifer Jennings is a warm, approachable, and creative leader who brings a personal touch to Bee the Change Foundation. As a mother of two and an artist herself, Jen enjoys crafting intricate, personalized greeting cards and other handmade paper goods.
Jen is a steadfast supporter of diversity, embracing and celebrating individuality and inclusivity. Her social nature and genuine love for community make her an invaluable part of the foundation’s leadership.

Patrick Kearney
Secretary & Treasurer, he/him
Patrick Kearney is a PhD researcher at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where he studies dopamine and its effects on the brain, particularly in diseases like Parkinson’s.
As the son of an art teacher, Patrick has a lifelong appreciation for the arts and their transformative power. He combines his scientific precision with a passion for creativity to ensure the foundation operates efficiently and with purpose.

Leaf Ekaika
Director of Programs & Marketing, he/they
Leaf E’kaika is a passionate advocate and creative force, leading Bee the Change Foundation’s programs and marketing efforts. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, he is a fierce champion for underrepresented voices, using his skills in digital engagement and strategic branding to amplify impact.
Endlessly creative, Leaf’s talents span digital art, quilting, crocheting, tattooing, and world-building in Dungeons & Dragons. His dedication to inclusivity and storytelling makes him an invaluable leader in driving the foundation’s mission forward.
