What is The Work of Art?

The Work of Art is a free quarterly journal of literary and visual art, published by Bee the Change Foundation, a San Diego 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Each issue is organized around a single theme and features original work from emerging artists: poetry, fiction, essay, painting, sculpture, illustration, photography and more.

We believe art is essential to community and social change. This publication exists to give artists a platform, readers a window into new voices, and the foundation a way to live its mission on the page.
